Waliku's Journey: 2021 edition

At Waliku we always believe in building a strong foundation for sustainable intervention and behaviour change. So here are a few milestones ​we were able to hit in 2021:

• Expanding digitization of student absence management for 21,297 primary and secondary school learners across two districts in Indonesia
• Digitally tracking attendance and reading outcomes of 2,404 out-of-school children in community Catch-up Clubs in four sub-countries in Uganda
• Piloting digital attendance tracking for 4,066 learners across two municipalities in Guatemala
• Digitizing paper attendance registers in Yemen in 10 of 400 target schools for analyses on Waliku.  
• Launch of Waliku's 3.3 version which allows Excel-based attendance to be imported into the database, and export of student lists to KoBo Toolbox.
