Students absenteeism is a problem to many countries. School are closed during some period and when they reopen, many children who have missed a lot of school days may not return, especially if they experience new difficulties or if the existing ones have become even more severe. Particularly post-Covid when children and their families are still recovering from the impact.

Catch-up Clubs approach integrates elements from programs that have successfully demonstrated rapid learning gains, and it builds on Save the Children’s existing expertise in community-based learning, child protection and child poverty programming.
