Originally created to address the immediate education needs of children in upper primary grade who have been put at greater risk of academic failure as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Catch-up Club is determined to reduce the risks of repetition and dropout of the vulnerable students by offering community-based and targeted learning opportunities in foundational literacy and numeracy.
Catch-up Clubs (CuC) are a targeted, data driven, and cost effective intervention, that can be implemented quickly and scaled up rapidly. In doing so, CuC have partnered with Waliku to support the development of digital tools that can be used to help in achieving CuC target.
