Waliku commenced implementation in Ethiopia Somali Region in May 2022 with the aim to develop a school information management and digital attendance tracking system with an exisiting Norwegian Embassy education programme.
The digital attendance tracking pilot programme will take place across six schools in Afdem and Shinile Woredas reaching 1,584 school children.

- Train teachers, principals, and Ministry of Education staff on the use of a digital system and a school information management system
- Schools are supported to operationalise a school information management and digital student attendance tracking system
