Waliku is extending its software services to Vision Empower (VE), a non-profit that aims to empower visually impaired children through inclusive education that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). VE offers various programs that cater to the unique needs of visually impaired children in special schools. Some of these programs include providing STEM learning resources, conducting teacher training workshops, and collaborating with Microsoft to create accessible computational thinking curriculums

One of the key challenges that VE faces in providing these programs is the lack of effective data collection and analysis tools. This is where Waliku comes in, to provide a suite of user-friendly digital tools capable of enrolling, tracking, and monitoring learner attendance and learning outcomes. The partnership hopes to improve the quality of VE's programs and outcomes delivered to visually impaired children.

Our Objectives:
  • Provide a suite of digital solutions capable of enrolling, tracking and monitoring learner attendance, and learning outcomes
  • Train project staff to on the digital solutions for their program monitoring and tracking
